MOPIENS

Since its establishment in 1997, Mopiens has grown into a leading contender for development, production and selling of  the network equipment such as RF repeaters for CDMA base station and terminal and optical repeaters. In 2004, it  started the business in the area of navigational safety equipment for aircraft and had successfully developed aircraft navigational safety wireless system such as DVOR, DME and ILS. Since then, based on their competence and accomplishments, Mopiens has built its reputation in Korea and at a global platform. In addition to majority of Korean Airports, the products are now being supplied to more than 200 airports around the world. Mopiens is constantly working towards developing world-class aircraft navigation products by overcoming challenges and paving the road to innovation in the next generation navigational safety system.

 

MAIN PRODUCTS

DVOR

MOPIENS’s Doppler VHF Omni-directional Radio Range (DVOR) is fully compliant with ICAO Annex 10 requirements. It is installed and operated at most of the domestic airports in Korea including Seoul AB (Code-1) Airport, Gimpo International Airport, Jeju International Airport, Cheongju International Airport, etc. This system has been supplied and is in operation worldwide including Thailand, Laos, Bhutan, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Turkey, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Mauritius. Malawi, Nigeria, etc.

DME

Mopiens’ Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) is fully compliant with ICAO Annex 10 requirements. It is installed and operated at most of the domestic airports in Korea including Seoul VIP (Code-1) Airport, Gimpo International Airport, Jeju International Airport, Cheongju International Airport, etc. This system has been supplied and is in operation worldwide including India, Turkey, Iran, Thailand, Indonesia, etc.

 

ILS

500 ILS is designed and manufactured to meet or exceed the requirements of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) as described in the Annex 10, Volume I. The 500 ILS is fully solid-state, and uses modern digital techniques to minimize the number of adjustable controls. Extensive BITE is available throughout the equipment, and a maintenance computer permits monitoring and adjustment of the equipment. The 500 ILS is designed for continuous and uninterrupted operation and utilizes a dual equipment configuration for high reliability and availability
